Hotels in Charlotte, NC area

We're driving down from Cleveland Easter week and we're planning on stopping in Charlotte NC or just north of there. Any hotel advice? Looking for a place right of I-77.

I would suggest staying in Huntersville - its a very nice area about 10 miles North of Charlotte - here are three suggestions for lodging:

There are several dining establishements nearby. I-77 is very congested between I-85 and I-485 during rush hours so plan accordingly.
