We just got tickets for Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Now we need 3 hotel rooms. Any recommendations for hotels close to the civic center. I'm not paying the money that the Sheraton is asking. Any suggestions?

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard. Our room was pretty nice, and the hotel was not very expensive.

jgmklmhem said:That is what I thought they meant which is really far from the BJCC

So it is not too nice, Carol?CarolA said:.....1. Carpet is threadbare
2. Wallpaper in the bathrooms is peeling off the walls....
3. Most bathrooms have a window. If you don't want to be grossed out don't look closely at the window or window sill
4. My last stay I was first put in a room with no working fan in the heat/ac unit. I was then moved to one where the fan sounded like a jet engine.
5. Overall quality and upkeep are just plain poor......

We heard it was sold last week so maybe they will fix up the rooms now.
