Hotels honouring promo deals?

I have a question regarding a possible October trip. We would love to secure the hotel now but with the Grand’s high rates and a bad CDN dollar I am concerned that there may be room deals later.

If they come out with a room deal for the fall in let’s say August, will Disney let me apply that to the reservation to save money?

Also, what is the cancellation policy if I am able to rebook if they won’t apply it?

If you find a better deal, you can cancel your reservation and rebook at the better rate at the same time.
