Please help! :) I am trying to take my girls to Legoland for the weekend. Can anyone please explain the access to the park from the different hotels? I have found the Sheraton and the Grand Palisades but I can't quite find the differences in their proximity to the park. Thanks so much!

Don't know about the Grand Palisades, but the Sheraton is the closest you're gonna to get Legoland. And the end of the Sheraton self-park lot, there's a private entrance for hotel guests into Legoland. This entrance is only for Sheraton guests and the hotel MarBrisa located next to the Sheraton.

Heres a map of the hotels near by: http://legolandtravel.com/295_lodging.html

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn. It is a very nice hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. They offer a free daily breakfast buffet and evening reception. I highly recommend this hotel. Beds are very comfortable.

It was a five minute walk from the entrance to our hotel room to the entrance to Legoland... We need to cross the street, walk about 100 metres - there was a pedistrain gate to the car park... then walk across the car park ...

We enjoyed GPP - stayed in a 2 bedroom suite

I just want to put a plug in for West Inn and Suites. We just returned and I swear it was the BEST service I have ever received at a hotel. It is a 5 minute drive to Legoland, but they offer a free shuttle service that will take you and pick you up within 15 minutes of you calling for return. We stayed in the Double King Suite because we were travelling with 6 people. The front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating. A great example of this was when we arrived late our first night and the milk and cookies that they offer every night had run out. I asked the front desk if they had anymore, and she said sure she just had to go to the kitchen and get some and then asked if I would like her just to bring them to our room for us, and asked how many glasses of milk we would like. They also offer a full hot breakfast that was always delicious, and on top of that they have a little library with little cabinets full of toys for your children to play with. They also have free DVD's for you to check out and take to your room. And on top of that they offer free beach towels and beach toys that you can check out along with a free shuttle to the beach (only 5 minutes away also). Everyone including the maids and kitchen staff always had smiles on their faces. We went to Disneyland after our stay here and stayed at the Disneythemehome (which is an amazing place also) but even though the Disneythemehome was cool, when we asked our kids where they would want to stay next time we went down they said West Inn and Suites (just wish it was closer to Disneyland:sad1:)
