I think it varies depending on the hotel you book. We have booked Fantasy World Villas and also Comfort Suites Main Gate East, and both of those hotels charge your credit card immediately. You can get a refund, but it is not like most hotels where you leave a credit card number to hold it and then it gets charged when you check out. I would click on the hotel you are interested in and see what it says in the description. I think these hotels specified in the description that it would be charged immediately.

Did you stay there and did you like it? I'm looking at booking there through Holtelmartusa. Were there any hidden fees?

We liked Fantasy World Villas. It is a little older, but roomy and so much nicer than staying in a hotel room. We planned on staying there again this past February. We booked it, but a few months later hotelmart called us and asked us if they could upgrade us to a 3 bedroom condo in Windsor Palms because there was suppose to be some renovations going on at Fantasy World. There were no hidden fees at all through hotelmart. Just make sure you book more than 3 nights otherwise there is a cleaning fee. I found hotelmart to have the lowest price for this place. We would stay here again.
