Hotelkingdom.com??

Just wondering if anyone here has booked through them and if they are reputable? Looking at booking cypress pointe resort or grand villas and they have a great rate but I would have to pay up front. Anyone???

Have used many times and would again. I have also had to cancel/reschedule trips and had no problem receiving refund (less cancellation fee-around $20?).

I've used them twice. Once I had to cancel something and I got a refund, no problem (less the stated cancellation fee). The second time I didn't get the instant confirmation I was supposed to, and I thought something had gone wrong, so I booked again. Turns out both bookings went through. I e-mailed them and explained what happened, and they let me cancel one without charging the fee. I've never had an issue with their business practices, they have always been above board. And I never had an issue with the reservations they had made for me either.

We are staying at Cypress Pointe at the same time! (Seven of us in a 2 BR)....I booked through hotelkingdom.com as well....Their customer service personnel are very polite and helpful. Also, they only charge you part of the reservation and then Cypress Pointe charges the remainder.

Thats interesting to know. I thought that the instant confirmation symbol on the hotel kingdom Cypress Pointe page meant that you were charged 100% at time of booking.
Do you know what % you were charged at booking at what % you will pay at check-in?

I booked 4 nights in a two beddroom at crgv and was charged 60.48 by hotel kingdom and then the hotel will charge the rest (by monday per hotel kingdom cs) but all must be prepaid when booking at cpr or cpgv...hopew that answers your question

Thanks for recommending alpharooms. I had never heard of them before, and I can get a week in a 2bdrm at CPGV for less than $500. Total. WOW! I stayed there through skyauction in 2003 and loved it, but it has gotten so popular it doesn't seem to come up on skyauction much anymore.

I booked an additonal night on that stay through hotelkingdom as we were staying 8 nights, and didn't have much difficulty. I did get charged twice for the extra night, once when I booked hotelkingdom, which was fine, but then the hotel charged me again. It was refunded immediately once I called them about the charge (didn't notice until I got my credit card statement).

The bad news (or good news, depending how you look at it) is that I will probably cancel the reservation I booked at WDW Yacht Club with the 40% discount code I received. I was looking forward to trying the dining plan, but the difference would be more than $2000!!! I can pay for a lot of buffet's and character meals for $2000.

The 2BR only sleeps 6 (king bed in master, twin beds in 2nd br and sleeper sofa). Hopefully you meant a 3 BR. Otherwise be sure to bring a sleeping bag for that 7th person!

I booked through hotelkingdom.com and was able to get a rate of 767.00 for 7 nights in the grande villa. Alpharooms has the same week available for 497.00 the only problem is I can't tell if this is the grande villa or just the resort. Any suggestions? TIA

When we use to stay offsite we used hotelkingdom.com twice. The last time we stayed at Cypress Pointe Grand and loved it. This would be the only place offsite I would probably stay again. When I was there we stayed in the back section from the main lobby (have to get in the car and drive to the lobby). The nice thing is we had a huge crystal clear pool (2 actually). They also had outside bathrooms, snack shop, and putt-putt. I also so several tennis and basketball courts. If you need recreation equip you have to go to the main lobby but it is free of charge. I think you must leave a driver license or id with them. We went to the main police once which we had to drive our car but they have extra parking. I rather enjoyed the one by our villa. One thing to remember is if you are wanting to do laundry they do not have the facility unless the something has changes. When I asked they said we were allowed to use the hotel at the entrance, which we did with no problems. (I like to make sure I was all our clothing prior to going home)

I was really skeptical about hotelkingdom.com but I made many calls before I was sold on the fact that I was paying $54.00 a night.

No, there are 7 of us, however 1 of them is a baby. Pack-n-Play for them!
