Hotel with Suites and Fun..

I'm planning a trip for next year with my two daughters who will be 10 and 11 at that time.

I"m looking for a hotel that has a suite, a fun pool...hopefully with a slide, and some fun family activities at night. I was thinking of the Nickelodian Suites but not too sure if my daughters would think it's "lame" since they're starting to be at that age where things are either cool or not cool....


Any suggestions? I'd rather it be closer to Disney than Universal.

Those are probably the "funnest" suites going.

Just a thought-- but if you can find a great discount code-- the Wilderness Cabins was the first thing that came to mind. I'm not a "pusher" of onsite. It's just if you don't think the Nick Suites would be "cool" to them-- these might be a better option.

As for just a "plain" suite. A lot of hotels have those. You might even consider the Cypress Pointe Villas. They have some planned activites. Usually the best rates for them are found on www.hotelkingdom.com .

We're leaving for Nick Suites next week... I can't wait. One word of advice... If you go with Nick - go ahead and make your reservation BUT continue to check back REGULARLY to see if prices go down. When I first reserved, it was for almost $200 / night, I checked back a while later and it was $170, and my latest price is $138. That's a HUGE savings for the 30 seconds it takes to check.

Is the Seralago the old Holiday Inn Sunspree?

Sheraton Vistana gets great reviews on here. They have multi-bedroom units, quite a few pools and lots of family activities to enjoy at the resort.

There are lots of ways to book there though and a big difference in price depending on the options so you may want to read through some previous posts or check out their website to see if it appeals to you.

I would love to stay there with my children. It's on my list of places to try.

I like the looks of the Sheraton but when I looked into pricing it's not much less than a moderate at Disney. Do most people go with it because of the extra space?

I'd rent a place at Windsor Hills...it's only 2 miles from WDW and they have codos and townhomes and a great looking pool and a movie theater. We're staying there in may!
