Hotel to Disney transportation?

Looking at booking flights and it's much cheaper to come in the night before our December Disney resort vacation package begins. But the flight arrives at 11:10 pm. Is that too late for DME? I was thinking about renting a cheap hotel near the airport but wasn't sure how much it would cost to get to Disney or even the best way to do it because we have only used DME in the past. I'm trying to figure if it would be a better deal to go the night before OR to pay the difference the next day. Any insights? Thanks!

You have a few options. ME runs 24/7, so you could add a night at Disney and take ME when you land. You would need to collect your bags and bring them on the bus with you. Another option is to book a room near or at the airport and take ME in the morning. You would need to collect your own luggage, again. Then either find a flight that lands around the time you would like to get on ME, or just call them directly and tell them what when you would like to leave.(866) 599-0951

In this situation we usually book the first night at All Stars (have gotten in very lat at times due to delays - maybe 2 am or so). The bus may wait a few minutes for other stragglers but both times we were the only ones on the bus. Got us to the hotel. Bell services moved the luggage to the next hotel and we either took a cab over or went to the parks and then to the new hotel later in the day to complete the check-in. Other than being a little odd to be in the airport at such an hour and complete emptiness it worked fine.

We've booked the MCO Hyatt and the nearby Marriott for arrival night for as little as $38 to $60 on Priceline and Travelocity. Not sure how this impacts DME, we either rent a car or or hire Tiffany.

This.

Just priceline a room near MCO for the first night. I think they almost all have a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and can drive you back the next day to transfer to DME.

Personally, I would take DME to my hotel and begin the vacation. I would want to get to the hotel so I can start vacation the next morning and not worry about checking out of 1 room, getting a ride to WDW, and then checking in again. Add a night if possible, get your luggage and ride to your resort and let the magic begin!
