Traveling to CA by plane from WI June 1
Jun1-3 SF(flying to Anaheim 6/3)
Jun 3-6 DL
Jun 6-9 Family Camarillo(Flying from LAX home 6/9)

Children are DS11 and DD16 each will be having BDays that week.

Just looking at the best spot in SF to stay. We are booked for Alcatraz night tour on Jun 2.

I'm thinking Fisherman's Wharf is probably the best but wanted to get thoughts and comments from Dis folks.

Currently booked at Radisson Fisherman's Wharf. Biggest concern is rooms are very expensive and only can book 1 room. Husband is big on seperate rooms. He feels it is not vacation all in 1 room. Many reason we bought DVC.

Any thoughts would be great.

When we travel with another couple, or are meeting up with a larger group, I check out VRBO.com or AirBnB.com for a house or condo. It doesn't always pan out, but it has often enough to be worth a look.

Since you are only there for 2 nights, I would stay at the Radisson. You are near the cable cars and there are several on/off bus tours you can get in that area that will give you a good overview of the city. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
There are some other hotels nearby, have you checked them out?

Myself, DH and DD (14) have booked a studio for 3 nights in May through www.homeaway.com :)
It has cost us around the same price as a hotel room and, obviously, has more space :thumbsup2

If you know anyone who works for Radisson or any of their parent company subsidiaries such as TGI Fridays then there is a code you can use online to get rooms for $80.

Yes I know the code. Brothers is a GM and doesn't work for fisherman wharf Radisson. Have used the code a lot. Thanks I was hoping. Price I did get was great $155. Which Ida goverment rate just to cheap to put out another $300 for as second room.
