Will they be opening soon? I can't make any reservations for September through their website.

What is the best room to get?

I think they have a LONG way to go. Supposedly the Holiday Inn is much closer and they just changed their opening date to May 06. HRP is far away from ready from everything I have been told.

Just curious where you heard that the Holiday Inn is not opening until May. The last I heard it was changed to October. Have they changed that date again?

I asked when I called on the letter I got from HI that is only allowing rebooking 5/1/06-12/20/06

Try e mailing WGreen@RoyalPlaza.com or calling 407-827-3735. I was able to cancel, and book something else on my own for July in May. They may not be taking reservations if they know the renovations are not going to be complete. Hope this helps!

I just received a reply from them about an October reservation and they said they will be closed until the end of the year.

just called hotel royal. talked to bill green a very nice person.i asked about my oct 2-4 reservations and he said that it was on the border so to speak. he said other hotels were honoring the rate i got and if i wanted them to find me a room they would. so i should hear something soon by phone or email.

They told me they could not accomodate me for my reservation on October 17th and 18th. The lady stated that they would not be open until the end of the year and she rebooked me at the Best Western DTD. She left no room for the possibility of opening sooner.

they are transfering my request and reservations to best western tomorrow. they are starting oct ressie. hoping for a disney view. should know very soon. betty ann was very nice and helpful. still wish i was going there they sound like a nice group of people.

I called today because I noticed they are listed for a discount to IBPO union members. The woman said they are scheduled to open 1/2/06.
