Hotel Royal Plaza -- CLOSED!??

Read on another Disney Site, the due to the damage it got during all the hurricanes the Hotel Royal Plaza will be closed until March 2005.

Is this TRUE!? Is there anyone in the area who can conferm this?

That is the hotel we will be staying at in late Feb into early March for a meeting and then having some fun at the parks.

Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

is that is scheduled to re-open shortly after the 1st of the year. I work for a large travel company, and that is what our headquarters has told us for booking purposes.

Should be fine for March.

Well we have written an e-mail to the people getting the meeting together to see if they have heard anything from the RP, nothing from them yet.

But we will see. Personally I would not mind moving to another hotel. Don't really care for the RP, but don't really have a choice in the matter.

If we get anything intresting, I will post it here.
