We want to do a last minute stay over....what would you recommend that includes breakfast and less than $150?

When are you planning this? $150 a night with breakfast is getting harder and harder to come by, even booking far out! Off the top of my head, the following (within walking distance) offer breakfast in some form...Desert Inn & Suites, Candy Can Inn, Grand Legacy, Park Vue Inn, Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites. I'm sure they may be more, but that's all I can think of right now.

What are your dates?
How many in your group?
Last minute for $150 might be a challenge within walking distance.

This map will let you see places to stay around DLR. It's an old map but it will give you an idea.

Probably in May, dates aren't set. We were planning tomorrow but it fell through.

May is do-able, You need to be booking soon. If you have a couple of dates in mind, you might even book a room for each option. Once your dates are set, you can cancel what you won't use.

Have you looked at this thread to see what is going on at DLR in May? It will give you an idea of what to expect. May looks like a busy month!

Here are a few clips of what I found for a room in May. The Tropicana doesn't have a continental breakfast but the Desert Inn & Suites does.

I don't know if it would be the same in May but I'm booked in the Hyatt House for November and if you sign up for their rewards program (free) it was $136 USD a night :) including free breakfast. It's a tad further to walk but still doable and I've heard it's a nice hotel!

(I just did a rough search and there are some dates in May that are $146 a night)

Quality Inn on Manchester might run under $150 a night. They do charge for parking but it has free breakfast and the walk is about .7 mile.

I checked the FFI a few days ago for May dates and prices were around $130. No breakfast but you can pick that up for cheap at McD's in the parking lot.

Since you are local, would you be able to pack breakfast items to bring with you, either to eat in the room or to take into the parks? That would open up your hotel options.

We have never paid $150 a night for a room and always stay walking distance. The only place we stay that doesn't offer breakfast is HOJO. Desert Inn is a decent place, so close, and the breakfast is fine. They do charge extra for parking and resort fees, so include that in your nightly cost. We have a room for six booked for this fall, only $119 + $15 in fees per night. Pretty good for six people with breakfast and walking distance.

ETA: It's actually plus $17 a night, the fees have gone up since we were there two years ago, but it's still less than $150 per night.

I have done the whole "name your own price" option on Priceline for several trips over the past few years and have always scored a good deal, and have never been disappointed. I will probably do it again for our trip in late April.

I booked the Anaheim Islander (on Katella just west of Harbor) for $150/night out the door for our weekend trip without kids next month. Reviews look decent and it says they have a free breakfast.

What was the parking fee there?
