I am a stay cheap & stay close, Desert Inn & Suites being my go to. My current trip I am going with a friend (if all works out) and he wants to stay at a hotel with interior corridors and doesn't want to "cheap out" on the room but always doesn't want to spend more than $200/night or so. He is okay with not being able to walk to the park and needing to take ART or shuttle.

Which hotels have interior corridors? Any that have a hot breakfast? Their own shuttle? Which ones are easy walk to the Toy Story Lot ?

The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is not really walkable but has its own shuttle buses. It used to be a Sheraton and looks kind of like a castle from the outside. It's a full-service hotel, albeit a rather dated one. Not sure about current prices but it's generally a lot cheaper than most hotels in the area.

Hojo has interior corridors. I haven't priced it out recently, though.

Here are some others with interior corridors, but again I'm not sure of the rates for when you're going.

Hyatt Regency Orange County- Has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. It's maybe 10 or 15 minutes away.
Courtyard Marriott
Hyatt Place - Breakfast
Hyatt House - Breakfast
Westin

I thought it was the old Sheraton. We used to stay at a Days Inn and drive/park in the Mickey & Friends parking lot (back in the days of Free Parking with Tickets from AAA). So we drove by it a lot.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am hoping to have both dates & hotel settled this weekend.

Don't most of the hotels near the Convention Center have indoor corridors? The Hilton, Portofino, Westin, etc.?

That is my question. Also which if any are walkable to the Toy Story lot or have a dedicated shuttle. I tried to look at it on a map but it is hard to judge. It has been awhile since I stayed anywhere but the Desert Inn & Suites. Being able to walk to the park is unbeatable to me.

What is your preferred maximum walking time?

If you do Hojo, stay in building 1 or 2. The other buildings will be renovated soon so they will probably be feeling a little tired. If you are looking for a room that is not more than $200 per night, I think you are going to have a hard time finding that, interior corridors or not, especially when you add on taxes and parking. You certainly aren't going to get that rate at the Westin. You might be able to find a good bargain at the Hilton, but it's not really going to be a good walk either direct to the parks or to the Toy Story lot.

I kinda figured that. We are okay with a shuttle or taking ART if necessary. I'm just on a fact finding mission so I can go over things with my friend who seems to be much more picky about his hotel rooms than I am. I am not even sure he realizes that we have to take on $30-$40 a night for parking. But I always compare the all in rate, including parking and resort fees.
