Hotel Recommendations Cedar Point

Hi, everyone. We are currently planning a big extended family trip to Cedar Point in Sandusky. Ohio. We're looking for any and all information about the hotels there. DH's family used to vacation there regularly but haven't for a long time, so we're starting from scratch. There would be 2 grandparents, 5 kids ages 7, 6, 3, 3, and 2 and 6 adults.

Cedar Point has built their own hotels, if you want to stay in one you can check out their website.

We live too close to stay overnight, but there are about a gazillion other places to stay, too. Just can't tell you what kind of places they are.

My sister stayed at Hotel Breakers right next to the Cedar Point entrance and my other sister and her family stayed at Breakers Express which was a couple miles down the road.Both liked their hotels alot.Of course the Breakers hotel is more fancy and more expensive.But my other sister said Breakers Express is just fine.Clean,nice size rooms.Not as close to the entrance so you do have to pay for parking.
If you go the beginning of May when they open you can get really good deals on the hotel rooms.
