I'm going to be going to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival with some girlfriends in early November. I estimate we'll probably have 6 people total. Any recommendations for hotel rooms? While I'd like to stay onsite I think it may be too expensive.

What are the planned sleeping arrangements? Two per bed or everyone having their own bed? I think that will change people's answers. I think a two bedroom condo will work. So would two value resorts.

However, I would consider transportation to/from if everyone plans to partake in drinking.

Check the Swan or Dolphin. Great location and often right around the price of a Disney Modeate. AllEars.net has some good rates

Hilton DTD is another good option. Mouse savers had a good deal
Off site I like Lake Buena Vista. As a single woman I feel safe there and there are options at all price points

You can rent a week at Wyndham Bonnet creek in a 3 bedroom condo for about $175 a night. Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

You can get a 2 bedroom suite at Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista for about $150 a night, sleeps 8 and has free hot breakfast, full kitchen and in a good area. to get the lowest price you need to book online and pre-pay.

To rent a week at Bonnet Creek you need to contact places like vacation Strategies or Vacation Upgrades and get a quote for your dates.

If it's just for the Food and Wine Festival - agree to check out the Swan and Dolphin. You can walk back and forth, so it doesn't get any easier than that. Plus, you don't have to worry about driving if you've enjoyed the wine. With maybe 6 total, if you had to do a rental car, you'd need a minivan, plus you'd have to coordinate to all come and go together - it would be much easier to be within walking distance in my opinion. I've stayed a few times at the Swan and Dolphin, and found it to be great, and the location is perfect.

Thanks everyone! It is just for one or two days. We live in Tampa so just a quick weekend away.

I think we'll do two people per room with queen beds.

I'll check out the Swan and Dolphin. It would be great to be able to just walk over.

Check the Allears.net page. they used to have a good Florida rate for the Swan/Dolphin. (I don't live there so I don't know if they still have it but it's worth a shot)
Also, are any of you teachers or nurses, another good rate that I don't qualify for LOL!
