Hotel Recommendation in Ocala, FL

Alrighty peeps here is the situation. We are driving down July 30 from northwest Indiana. We usually stop in Valdosta, GA but I am feeling gutsy this year. I am thinking about driving to Ocala before we stop. I am looking for any suggestions or ideas from anyone that has stayed in that area. Cost is not a huge issue becuase I am a member of multiple reward programs so the room will be covered by that. TIA

Exit 350 has several hotels and plenty of restaurants. I think some of the hotels are La quinta, Country Inn, Holiday Inn and a Hilton, but there may be more(my parents live off that exit so I don't really pay attention to the hotels). Just an FYI, once you make it to 350, you are only about 90min from Disney, if you think you can push just a bit farther a Disney Value for the night would be good too.

Thanks. I think Ocala is the edge of my driving patience for the day. It's about a 1000 miles from home.

We stayed at the Country Inn at exit 350 last summer. It had really gone downhill from our previous visit. I would avoid it.

We are driving down from NJ in August and stopping in Ocala to see my grandparents for a couple of days before heading to Disney. We have reservations at the Howard Johnson Inn in Ocala. It got decent reviews on Tripadvisor and also has a really big pool (a plus for my daughter!)
