we're staying at the RPH. Based on what I've seen in some posts, it seems that we can "pool hop". Please let me know your experiences in doing so as well as provide descriptions of the various pools.

First of all, sorry this isn't in more detail...it's been a whole 29 days since I've been at the pools!!! Plus it's hard to describe anyway...

I pool hopped while I stayed at RPH. Although I didn't get to actually swim at the pools at RPH or PBH, I did get to see them (and I did try the one at HRH).

RPH pool: Rather large. I think they had a water-volleyball net set up in one area and there was some kind of structure with water pouring down (almost like a waterfall)...hard to explain. With lots of people in it, it doesn't feel that crowded.

PBH: When we went, there was thunder, so they closed it down for safety precautions. It was a VERY pretty pool area with 2 slides hidden by a structure made of what looks like stone, I believe. I really wanted to jump in but, couldn't :( Then I heard this nice pool closed early when we went and that some lame lap pool would be open until 11 PM (when the pools are supposed to close at each resort I believe). I was upset that I couldn't swim in the "cool pool"
:p

RHR: This one I can REALLY give you input on. The pool doesn't LOOK anything special but it is. There is a slide which is actually pretty decent (not just straight down)! I went on it twice (it as late and we had to head home that day). What I liked best about this HRH is when I went under the water I heard...MUSIC. At first I imagined things and then realized the music was for real. I actually found a speaker on the floor of the pool and could make out actual words! This really amused me.

So I had stayed at RPH. I took a boat to the other hotels, wearing my swimsuit. I went in the resort, and jumped in. I didn't even have to show my room key! I had it just in case though. Not sure if my mom had to show one to get me a towel or not...but it worked out.

I will go back to the HRH's poolnext time I go to Universal and stay onsite, no matter which hotel I stay at!!
