Hotel parking

Hoping y'all can safe me a phone call.

I have a preferred annual pass.

I'm staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Do I still have to pay the parking fee of $27 a day?

Just got back from a stay at Aventura and parking was $17 a day. Also learned about a great deal for locals and tourists. If you want to enjoy the rooftop bar and are not a guest of the hotel they will validate your parking ticket. Thanks, Aventura and Universal!

You can walk. Or take the boat to Sapphire and cross the walkway to get it from there. It`s very close and easy to get from there.

Bar 17 doesn't open till 4pm.

$17 is bad enough but mine is 27 for self parking. Crazy, pay hundreds for room and have to pay to park.

They have to pay for that land. I’d rather pay for parking than have them raise rates for everyone, rather than just those who want a car.

We will have to agree to disagree. I just feel if a business wants my business they need to provide parking for me. That is why I try to avoid big cities like the plague.
Some how I feel if universal actually owned/managed the hotels parking would not be so much.

Well to be fair, Universal does not run the parking, another company does, and Disney now charges for parking, 50 dollars a day for deluxe and less for values. And Disney owns the hotels and parking lots.

I always price my hotel total cost, counting all extras like parking, and resort fees. Choice as to whether free breakfast too. I book what I can afford and where I want. I have an AP, but if I want a car at the Universal hotels, I do. If I want free parking and free breakfast, I book somewhere else.

Wow 50 a night that mite be a deal breaker for me. Last time I went to Disney it was free if you had a room. Yes it's been a while. I guess I should be happy they are not charging for the oxygen

I never knew Universal doesn’t own or run the hotel parking lot. I just choose not to pay parking and do without a car. And use Uber/Lyft for off site things, shopping outlets, dining!

To be fair, yes Disney indeed charges for parking now at their resorts, but it's not $50 a day.

It's $24/night at Deluxe and above
$19 at Moderate Resorts
$13 at Value resorts

So it's similar to Universal.

Yes Disney does have high parking fees at their resorts for all levels at their hotels, but I just consider it’s part of my vacation costs

Loews $27 parking fees at the premier hotels is a decent price

I have paid $35 per hour parking at Chicago hotels parking lots

For a 3 hour meeting I lived with it, doesn’t mean I liked it

There are many people that will do a car rental from the airport to the Loews hotel.
After unloading the car, take it to the drop off center and avoid any hotel parking charges
