Hotel New York?

I love the HNY, the rooms are spacious. I love the pool too.

I agree with the other posters: we were there last November, and it was lovely, although more "serious" than the others. The rooms are nice and huge, the brekkie is excellent, the shop is small but packed with goods, and it has a lovely bar. I heard the restaurant has changed, but last year it was good Italian food (and I AM Italian :D).

Another plus: it is really really close to the Village (Chef Mickey side) so it's easy to go out for dinner (even if you have young kids with you!).

You will enjoy it!

Hiya

We stayed at HNY for our first DLP trip back in June and we thought it was lovely. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped and beautifully decorated. It is a relatively cosmopolitan feel to the hotel, compared to the likes of the Cheyenne which are more kid-oriented, but I'd trade that any day for a king size bed, three pillows wide :cloud9:

Beware the mini-bar prices which were :scared1: but there was lots of character interaction, both at set times for photos and impromptu stuff in the lobby. Coming back to the hotel after a day at the parks, passing time til dinner, with our DD up dancing with Mickey and Goofy or characters from High School Musical made for priceless moments!

Breakfasts were never a queue, although we enjoyed the elegance of breakfast in the Manhattan over the riot of the Parkside diner, so if you can time it well or get the choice, definitely give it a try!

The walk to the parks is nice and quick with a nice view of Lake Disney, a stroll through the Village and you're at the parks before you know it!

I'd definitely highly recommend! We'll definitely be back! :thumbsup2
