I have previously stayed at the Sequoia Lodge when visiting Disneyland Paris. I have been researching going again to see the 25th Anniversary and noticed that the Hotel New York is not that much more expensive.

Is it worth staying there over the Sequoia? I read somewhere that the New York has not been renovated yet and isn't in the greatest shape. Thank you for your advice!

We stayed there in July 2015 and it was as in need of a renovation then...it was fine, but a bit shabby.

The rooms are bigger with double sinks in the bathroom. It's a hotel so all rooms are in the main building and there are less rooms than at Sequoia. Breakfast will no longer be included, but if you were to have breakfast it is nicer and more relaxing at HNY. It is a bit closer to the parks so a shorter walk.
If staying in standard rooms then HNY would be worth the upgrade.

We stayed at Hotel New York in December and although its not yet been refurbished it was definitely not shabby or dated.

I'm the wrong one to ask because we don't stay anywhere else :rotfl:

I like it for location, room sizes, breakfast options any general feel. Lovely staff and perfect housekeeping too.
