Hotel near Sanford Airport???

Anyone know if there is a clean but on the cheaper side hotel/motel near or right next to Sanford Airport. We have an EARLY flight out of there at the end of our WDW trip and are thinking it might save a lot of headache and loss of sleep if we spent the night before near the airport instead of at WDW. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Looks like Snaford has a Super8, Holiday inn Express and Days Inn. Not for sure how close they are to the Airport. Just do a search on the internet for motels + Sanford.

I did a search on Choice Hotels and gave me 2 hotels in the Sanford Airport area.

Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial Town Park Is about 3 miles from the Airport.

The other one was a Comfort Inn & Conference Center in the Longwood area, which is 6 miles from the Airport. Would they help?

Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for one night before an early morning flight out. It's in nice area with lots of restaurants (can't recall which ones exactly, but they were chain restaurants like TGIF, Chilis, Olive Garden, Red Lobster). The hotel was clean and fine for a one night stay. The breakfast was fine, standard for what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn.
I would have booked there again for this years trip, but the rates were outrageous. It's not worth more than $100.night. For our March trip, I booked La Quinta in Lake Mary for $60/night thru Hotwire. Hope that helps.
