Hotel Near MK with good TS

It will be me, dh, ds16, and dd13. I love trying the deluxe resorts for dining, we'll be on the meal plan. Need someplace quick and easy to get to from MK. What do you recommend. It would be great if it would be easy to get to DD from there too so we can do our shopping. TIA

A couple of our favorites that are close to Magic Kingdom are Ohana's at the Polynesian and Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. You could then catch a bus from here over to downtown disney.

I will ditto Ohana at the Polynesian..it's our favorite dinner in all of WDW.

Did someone say Ohana? Great place - lots of delicious food and entertainment too.

For fine dining, we liked Citrocos in the Grand Floridian. The lobby of the Grand is great too, and orchestra/band and pianist alternate playing, there's some neat shops. Narcoosees and California Grill are nice too.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian could be interesting. Have not been there but will next trip. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Tremaine and the step sisters Anastasia and Drizella. We met the step sisters before and they are hilarious.

I don't know if you are planning on being in MK that day, but we LOVED CP last time we were there. We also have ADR's for 1900 Park Fare for our upcoming trip in September. I think I am more excited about meeting the step sisters than my kiddos are. DD4 loves Cinderella, and I figured DS2 would like Prince Charming.

I hear GF Cafe is good and I'm trying it for lunch next trip.

The GF Cafe can be quiet too! The onion soup, cobb salad, and chicken sandwich are great.

Are you looking for lunch or dinner? We like GF Cafe for lunch. I have not had dinner there yet. We used to really like Artist Point at WL for dinner, but have not been in years.

We had an excellent meal at The Wave at the Contemporary. It is a quick 10 minute walk to and from the Magic Kingdom.

Me too. How can you beat a meal with unlimited servings of grilled meat.

For lunch I would go to Kona in the Poly and for dinner The Wave in the Contemporary.
