Hi all !
I would love some advice !

Can anyone tell me their experience with any hotels near Buffalo airport. I am hoping to stay over in one if the weather gets iffy. I think I've also read about a hotel that gets you free parking at the airport?
Is this true....even for a week?

Thanks

We've stayed at the Comfort Inn on Dick Road a couple of times. A pretty average hotel in terms of accommodation. We left our van there for a week (after signing a release) and there's an additional charge for parking. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport, which is like ten minutes down the road.

If you get a really good parking spot on arrival and don't want to move out of it to go for dinner, they'll drop you off and pick you up when you're finished eating... the hotel is just 'down the road' from restaurant row.

If you've got a really early flight, they offer a breakfast of sorts like bagels, cereals and stuff, coffee and a microwave.

I'm always an iffy sleeper on the first night out so I wind up getting only two-three hours sleep when we've done the first-flight-out-in-the-morning, so we decided to switch to the dinner time flight with another night's accommodation in WDW and paying for the van parking in a secured lot. I believe it's actually cheaper to do it this way, considering what we paid for the Comfort Inn. Also means instead of leaving work at the 'normal' time, we'd have to leave a couple of hours earlier (depending on the weather) to get there on time.

Brand new Garden Inn acriss the road. Just opened about 4 weeks ago and I hear it is beautiful.

That's the one I was trying to remember!

Looks very nice from the outside!

We stayed at the Clarion, which was allot cheaper. $69 per night, it was clean but not that modern, although it did have a pool. It is about a 5 minute drive and they have a free shuttle.

I thought the $30 savings was well worth it....more money to spend at WDW

We stayed at the Millennium Hotel beside Walden Galleria last week. It was quite nice in the refurbished room. The shuttle was convenient both ways.
