We recently returned from a 5 day stay at HRH. We had some pretty amazing meals overall. I will list the meals we had at the onsite hotels here and another thread on the theme park board for park and citywalk meals.
I already mentioned in a separate thread that we ate at HRH's, The Kitchen, for breakfast so I wont repeat that but here is a link if you are interesed in the breakfast buffet. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1127920 It was excellent.
The Kitchen
One evening after park closing we were going to head to the room and just order room service since it was 10P but instead decided to see if The Kitchen was still serving. They will seat until 11P (good to know). We had a choice of sitting inside or outside and the kids picked outside. There are 5 of us and we were seated at a large table by itself that could easily seat 8. Our server's name was Mike and he totally made our meal a memorable one. I can't stress enough if you happen to eat here to request him.
I ordered seared Ahi tuna with ginger and sticky rice as an appetizer, it came with wasabi and a soy dipping sauce as well as chop sticks. I have had some great tuna before and the night before had tuna at Tchoup Chop and The Kitchen's tuna put it to shame, it was that good. My DH had a rib and creamed corn cake appetizer that was so tastey. The kids menu is printed on an oven mitt. They had a hamburger platter, grilled cheese and chicken tenders with fries. The kids loved their food and the portions were large.
Entrees for us were 20oz marinated cowboy ribeye that came with potatoes gratin and grilled asparagus. I had a filet mignon in a roquefort sauce served with broccolini and asparagus and roasted potatoes. The presentation was gorgeous for everything served. The steaks were very tender and delicious.
Mike, our server was SO attentive, funny and helpful with the menu. The kids are still talking about him! The kids each had dessert and we all had sweet tea and I had coffee after. The total bill was $119.00 for 5 of us. This meal would have been double that easily here at home so I was shocked how reasonable it was.
So this was 2 great meals at The Kitchen, we were pretty happy!
Tchoup Chop
I made reservations using Open Table 2 months prior. I forgot they like you to call and confirm either the day before or that day! When I remembered it was about an hour before we had to be there. We called and it wasnt a problem. Good thing cause they were booked solid all night! I requested a table by the lily pond and it was set and waiting for us when we arrived.
After we were greeted and seated our three servers introduced themselves,Matt and for the life of me I cant remember the other two names, and went over the specials with us. We were so impressed that they "welcomed us back" with tuna appetizers for each of us. Since I'm the only one that eats it I ate 4 of the 5!
They werent more than a taste (thats my story and I'm sticking to it!) It was very good and served along with the puffs and peanut dipping sause that I could drink by the glass. Instead of drinking that I had a Mai Tai. They are so so yummy and made perfect (strong).
The kids noticed right away that the menu for them had changed and they no longer were able to form a chefs hat but the choices were still the same. Our menu had changed and there were new additions that appealed to me. One was the scallop and plaintain appetizer that I ordered and the grilled lamb entree that I also ordered. My DH had the pork chop entree and I cant remember what he ordered for an app. The kids had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and chicken tenders and fries and one other entree I cant remember (it must have been the mai tai memory loss) I have pictures from this meal that I will post. I requested my lamb to be cooked medium well. After getting halfway through my entree I discovered the lamb was cooked rare to medium rare at best. I'm sure to many this would have still been delicious but I just cant eat my lamb unless its cooked. I brought it to my servers attention and at this point I was full anyway (must have been all that tuna!). He offered to send it back but I told him it wasnt necessary and that I was full. It was a $40 entree and he removed the entire price from the bill. I told him I wasnt looking for him to do that but he insisted. After my entree $ came off the bill was $154.00 We tipped him as if my meal was still on the bill and then some, the servers are always so great. The kids had dessert we were too full. They had ice cream and chocolate dipped strawberries that were HUGE in a bowl of homemade whipped cream. YUM. Another amazing meal.

We made a reservation about 3 hours before eating here on the Sunday evening before memorial Day. The earliest they had available was 9P and that was fine since parks closed at 9P that night. We decided to shoot for 9:30P. They seated that evening until 10P.
This has always been one of our must do places to eat and it did not disappoint as usual. The house salad that comes with the meals is always enough for us prior to dinner so we didnt have any apps. My mouth waters when I think of this salad its that good! It is bottomless so eat as much as you like, and we do. I decided to try something different for a change and our server told me his absolute favorite was the veal marsala so I went for it. My DH requested and always does something that surprisingly is not on the menu, veal parmigiana. Our server said he would have to check with the chef to see if he would make it since it wasnt on the menu and of course it was not a problem. The kids had spaghetti and meatballs.
The bread basket here is a meal in itself and its served with butter (if you ask) and an olive oil with roasted garlic and herbs. I have to say my veal marsala was in a very dark thick browm sauce that was incredibly delicious and very plentiful. Portions are large here and can be ordered family style or individual. DH's veal was so tender and it came with penne. We all had iced tea and no dessert since we were exhausted. The bill came to $110 for the five of us. They have strolling musicians but we were in and out so quick that they didnt make it to us for a request in time. The kids were disappointed but we told them next time! Oh and BTW, Mama changed again and shes a sweetheart! I believe this is our 4th Mama since were going here and we loved her lots!
We planned on making it to Island Dining room at RPR but we just couldnt fit it in along with all the others we visited this trip. It will just have to wait till next trip. I also want to eat at Bice and Jakes next time, the list just gets longer. Thanks for reading and I'll post the CityWalk and park restaurant reviews with pictures soon.
