Hotel in San Diego?

We stayed at The Grand Hyatt, it was a quick uber ride from the port.

Looking for a safe, clean place to stay the night before near the San Diego Port, say something along the lines of a Hyatt place, for a reasonable price.
Any suggestions?

I recommend staying anywhere in the BRIC development, it's right across the street from the cruise pier. Easy walk, you can arrange prepaid cruise parking in their garages if you are driving. The north building contains a Marriott Residence Inn and Springhill Suites. The south building contains an Intercontinental.
