Hotel in Montgomery

We are driving down to WDW from Jackson, Tennessee on February 10th. We are leaving at 3pm and are hoping to reach Montgomery that night so that the next day ride won't be so long.
Has anyone stayed someone safe and clean on the way in or near Montgomery, Al?

Although I've never stopped in that area, if you go to one of the better chain hotels, you will be fine. Hampton, Courtyard, etc.

I've stayed in Montgomery a bunch of times for work. The ones I would recommend are

Country Inn's & Suites
Holiday Inn Express
Drury Inn & Suites

I would stay away from anything else.
