Hotel in Bethesda Maryland?

Hi guys
My family and i may be going to maryland to visit a girl that we met on a cruise while she is in the hospital..We are considering staying overnight, but know nothing about the area..any idea on hotels in the area?

I live in MD but not near Bethesda. Bethesda is a Washington, DC suburb. Don't really know what hotels are in the area. I would do a search on say www.hotels.com or a site like that and see what comes up.

Just did a quick look also on www.tripadvisor.com and there are a few Marriotts that look ok in Bethesda. I like tripadvisor because they post reviews of people who have stayed at the hotels on their site.

We stayed at the Bethesda Marriott through Priceline. It was only about $50, and it's a nice hotel with a big indoor pool and a Staarbucks.

Several years ago we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda and were very pleased. The hotel is right at a Metro stop making it extremely convenient.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Bethesda and it was fine. I was there alone and felt quite comfortable. It's right up the street from the Metro and the National Institute of Health. The FDA does alot of their hearing here so there are usually some good rates.

We stayed at the HI when we took my Dad to NIH, it was a recommended hotel through NIH. We werew happy there. The Mexican place next door had some good food too.
