Hotel help

We are planning our first trip to Disneyland and are very excited! We are DVC owners and love love our trips to Disney World. We will be staying off site on our trip and are looking for a good hotel that has a fun outdoor pool geared for kids. Any thoughts?

HoJo has a fun outdoor water-play area geared for kids, with an actual pool in the center courtyard. So not exactly what you want, but really close.

yep, we just got back and we stayed at the HOJO and their new kids pirate themed waterpark is great ... our kids loved it!! and it is within easy walking distance from Disneyland Resort!!

Nothing showing available right now through summer, but they often add dates as it gets closer. Also, you can book and get the Disboards rate of 15% off, and they will give you the Ent rate if it gets added before your trip.

We stayed there and loved it. DD13 and I went to Castaway Cove to soak in the hot tub. Some cute 12 y.o. boys talked her into running through the dump bucket in the water play area... and pretty soon she even dragged me in there. So, not just for kids?....

Thanks for the info! It seems as though the HoJo is the one place that EVERYONE wants to stay, because we can't find any availability for several consecutive days until June. Hmm...I will have to see what I can do. Too bad we missed the entertainment rates! Thanks for the help!

I just made a reservation at HOJO's for next January. I'm glad to see these good reviews.

HoJo rocks, definitely has the best pool/play areas of the off site hotels. If you can't get into the HoJo tho the Tropicana has a very nice pool, not a play area but the pool is huge. And the hot tub is right next to the pool and it too is huge.
