hotel facilities?

Hi All

If we need to take a break during the day from the hustle and bustle of the parks over Xmas, does anyone know if we can use the facilities of the hotels? in particular the soft play areas/playgrounds, cafes etc.

Also, we are staying in one of the off site hotels (HI), this may be a stupid question but, can you just walk in to the disney hotels? I can't wait to see what they look like at Xmas.

Yes you can visit other hotels. It is a great way to see the bars and restaurants

A nice thing to do is to have a cocktail at the Fantasia Bar in the Disneyland Hotel, or a hot choc in front of the open stone fire in the Redwood Bar in the Sequoia Lodge. Or you could book a meal in one of the restaurants. You can't use facilities such as the pools or fitness centre though.
