We are not comfortable with bidding hotel rooms due to the fact that our plans may change or even fall through.
We have been frequently checking sites like hotels.com and have definitely noticed that the promotions come and go.
We have even paid for a room, and then received a refund for the lower price difference.
2 star hotels can be had for 25-45 bucks and some of them on 192 in Kissimmee are only 3 minutes from AK. Add 5 more minutes for DHS, 4 minutes on top of that for EP, and a few more minutes for MK.
When you take Sherberth road, a back way, you get to avoid the extra length and time it takes to go the "regular" way.
For families that are really trying to go cheaply and safely, I just wanted to pass this on.
With the economy being tight, I hope this helps one extra family afford a trip to WDW.
