Hotel changes prices?

Hi. We are planning on going to Niagara falls in early March. I keep checking different prices of hotels on the net. Do they ever change the price on the net alot? We have never booked a room on the net, but just phone the hotel and ask for the best price.What is the best to do?

Check the price on the net and also call the hotel directly.

Sometimes you can get a better price if you call the hotel directly.
