Hotel Caribe Salou

I have also posted this on the Disney planning site just in case.
I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the above hotel? It is an onsite hotel with Port Aventura which is Universal owned. We hope to be going there July 27th so would welcome tips/advice.

OK...I'm confused. This hotel is in Spain not onsite at Universal so I don't know what you're asking.

The Port Aventura theme park is in Salou, Costa Dorada, Spain (I only know this because we are going in August)

The park is owned by Universal so I think that is where the confusion has arisen

If i recall the park is no longer owned by Universal, it was sold years ago. And as far as i know Universal do not own the hotels either
