I know that I can go to the Disney site and search by dates to see which hotels have availability. It will show all resorts that have rooms for the given dates provided. But can I also go to specific resorts and see when they have rooms available? When I am flexible on dates, it becomes tedious to create fictional dates of varying lengths to see if there are rooms.

No unfortunately you can only search by date, you can drill down your search to a specific resort and search by date or even by resort category but you cannot do a search and see all availability.

You can easily find the overall rack rates for the different disney resorts by season here https://www.mousesavers.com/2021-disney-world-room-rates-season-dates/

Rack rates are published well in advance of the year so you can get an idea of prices, but these don't include any discounts/specials.

Not that I'm aware of for regular hotel rooms. DVC members can see real time availability for DVC resorts on their members website but I don't think anyone (aside from phone CMs) can see regular hotel room openings online. I suspect that this is due to how Disney wants to sell room reservations in specific blocks of days in order to prevent any unreserved nights. If an online calendar could show that all nights from Day A to Day Z are open, there would undoubtedly be guests who get upset because they can't book just the night of Day M - N.

You should visit one of the agents with Dreams Unlimited, they can look for you about hotel availability and do all the work for you. Now, I sound like Pete, Craig, Ryno etc. with all their groovy videos.

Maybe for next trip. I already have my reservation for October. And its fun to plug in my dates and see what resorts pop up as available.

I just thought it would easier for planning if I could see that while my M-F dates aren't available, if I move the date to Tu-Sat then it would be. That's how I do my airfare. If I see that prices are super high or not available on certain days, then I move the days. I'm a loyal SW air traveler because they list all flights and prices for the next 6 months. (and here's a shout out to someone on these boards who mentioned their fall sale a few weeks ago. I re-booked my flights and got a $300 travel credit. Same exact flights)

I wish it was possible to do it that way. We are local so we never have specific dates to go. We kind of just pick random dates until we find something that’s in our price range. It would be a lot easier to search all available dates/prices for a certain resort

You can't even check for individual nights. Disney has algorithms which impose "secret" stay requirements to avoid orphan rooms and to impose minimum stay requirements.

This is for DVC resorts. Put a date in, then click on particular DVC resort and catagory. A calendar shows which dates are available.

But...that's for DVC's inventory of rooms, not Disney's cash inventory. And it's not in real time, so it can appear that a room is available when it was actually booked hours ago by a DVC member.

Did that happen to you? That would be frustrating. Don't know anything else out for non DVC rooms.

I'm a DVC member, so I can see real time availability. That's why I know that those online tools for non-owners can be wrong. And lately, the DVC members' website has been showing rooms as being available when they are actually booked up. So even a direct link to Disney is wrong sometimes.
