Hotel advice for first-timer!

When I went with my mom and sis (my first trip at 22 years old) we stayed at POP. We all loved it. 3rd floor at the back of the hotel (90's building) was perfect, not once were we bothered at night by outside noises, nor could we hear our neighbors though the walls. The pool was never crowded (we went late April), and we never waited long for the busses. Check-in did take about 40 mins. however. Not quite what were were expecting, but over all the hotel was great.

Wow, thanks for all the advice everyone! Actually, I'm 24, I have no children and I may be going solo. I don't have much money to spend, so that the issue with the lodging. When I go to DL, I'm only in the room to take a break in the middle of the day, shower and sleep. I'm thinking that's probably what I'll do this time since it's my first time.
