Hotdogs

I will be going to Disney World in a couple of months with a good friend who loves, LOVES, hotdogs. I know Disney has some really interesting hotdogs. So I thought I'd ask the experts, which hotdogs are not to be missed?

I am partial to the BBQ Slaw Dog at Casey's.

Footlong topped with Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw.

My wife prefers their Sausage that comes with Grainy Mustard and Caramelized Onions.

These can be enjoyed with a live piano player or near about the time for Parades and/or fireworks.

Disney has some other places with interesting combinations, I'll let others chime in suggesting if these are any good (i.e., Mac'n'Cheese Dog at Restaurantosaurus).

From my husband - a "do not miss" hot dog at the Studios.

Barbecued Pork and Coleslaw Hot Dog - with chips $8.99

He got this while I had the chicken and ribs and we sat with a young man who had this -

Barbecued Pork Sandwich - with baked beans or coleslaw $9.49

The two men agreed that the pork on each sandwich was the same amount. True, the young man got baked beans but, well, that hot dog has been on my husband's "have to do" each time we've been back in the last year.

Agree with the dogs at Casey's Corner! The one mentioned above "at the Studios" is found at Fairfax Fare and it, too, is delish!

Mac and cheese dog is available in a few places and is mighty tasty, so keep an eye open. (Fairfax Fare at DHS...Friar Tuck's at MK...Avalunch at Blizzard Beach...apparently, Restaurantosaurus at AK per comment above.)

We also recently discovered a buffalo sausage dog with bacon on top at Promenade Refreshments in Epcot (right there where Future World and the World Showcase meet....near the Duffy meet-and-greet).

Have also had a good pretzel dog at Avalunch at Blizzard Beach (yes, on the same day as the mac and cheese dog....I shared).

I have to agree with all the posters above Casey's Corner in the Magic Kingdom is awesome and the Barbeque Slaw Dog is the best of the bunch.
