Hubby and I arrive tomorrow around 10am for a brief visit before boarding the Disney Wonder on Sunday. We are from Texas and very accustomed to the heat, but is it really approaching 100 or so out there right now? WOW! What does that feel like in Southern California compared to my Dallas?

It will be hot, but not as hot as Texas with the humidity. Just checked weather.com and they have the humidity at 26%. Have a great trip!

I'm in Newport Beach right now and it's HOT! It rarely gets hot here. But, I figured it out. You're bringing the heat from Dallas, because it's suppose to cool down at least 15 degrees by Monday. :rotfl2:

i NEVER go by weather.com...you always have to add at least 5º to their prediction to get an accurate forecast...which also means the humidity is higher...but based upon what im seeing, next week it is supposed to drop quite considerably so im thinking the humidity probably is going to be gone at that point...

I can't believe people still use weather.com. Anyway, just back from lunch and it's hot out there (90 here at the beach). I'd hate to be standing in lines in this heat. However, it wasn't humid at all.

I can't speak to the weather today, as we left yesterday, but yes, it was very, VERY hot. Even the locals were complaining about it, and the humidity was dreadful. If my phone said it was 90 degrees, it totally felt accurate in the parks. Got a nasty sunburn on the back of my neck where I stupidly forgot sunblock (thankfully that was the ONLY place I forgot it or I'd be a mess). We found ourselves going on rides we didn't even want to do (like Small World) just to get out of the heat and into the A/C for awhile.

But... we're from Oregon, where we have two seasons: rainy and August. :lmao:

Today and tomorrow are supposed to be the worst days of all - I've watched various local news shows and the forecast ranges from 95 degrees to 98 degrees for my area of SoCal (and for Anaheim). It will feel even hotter than that in Disneyland. There are no two ways about it - it's hot, humidity or no humidity.

I am one of the locals who is anti-heat that exceeds 80 degrees!:rotfl2: It can feel like you're burning alive! I am extremely heat sensitive and get ill in it, so I avoid going out in any kind of heat whenever possible - even on days that are much less warm than this day. This is a day (and tomorrow as well) when not even the beach will offer much relief.

The funny thing is that if you were to come back to DLR in, say, December and we had a 90-degree day (it happens from time to time!), that December 90 degree day would feel much less harsh and oppressive than a 90 degree day in Summer!

We left the park yesterday at about 2:30, and it was 85. It's 106 right now.

Just confirming that the above is indeed not a typo. As hard as it is to believe it is over 105 in Anaheim at the moment.:headache: It is brutally hot today.

It's awful. :( It's 104 in San Diego right now, according to my friend...and he's downtown, so not even inland.

According to my phone, it's only 100 in Palm Springs right now. :lmao:

Some of my family is there today. We're from Arizona (we know hot) and they said it's pretty toasty. They went on Splash Mountain a lot yesterday...

...my SIL. Is there with three of her kids , three day trip , yesterday, today and tomorrow. They must be roasting....they are from central Alberta, so less than acclimatized....there is going to be busy first aid station, hope the sunscreen is flowing along with the water.

Seattleite here, Rainforest, I'm with you :)

I was a little concerned about the temps today, but it looks like it's supposed to cool into the upper 80's lower 90's early next week, which fits with my visit. Still warm to be sure, but manageable.

It is 105 here where I live in San Diego (actually the suburb Bonita). This is really bad for us. We are going Tuesday so hopefully it will be cooler. I am not a fan of the heat.

We get a weird weather pattern a few times every summer where the heat from the desert flows to the coast. It's awful. Two years ago it got over 110 in Anaheim! There are only a handful of days when you need A/C here, and today is definitely one of them.

yeah? its 95 in Long Beach...by the ocean:headache:...i didnt see where it hit 106..i know it got to about 101 an hour or so ago though..now its dropped down to 98...wow...bust out the heavy overcoats

WOW and I thought the upper 90's that we had when we were there in Mid-August was HOT. I would not want to have 100+

We were there this past week and it was miserably hot and EXTREMELY humid. We spent a lot of time on air conditioned rides!

Last year, we went to DL in October (Columbus Day week) and they had record breaking heat!! It got to like 106 degrees a couple of the days we were there!! It was horrible! One of the major reasons I try to go in the fall is to avoid that kind of heat! HEAT seems to follow me on my vacations!!

Today was HOT. Several areas hit triple digits today. Tomorrow will be another HOT day. Suppose to not be as bad on sunday from what I am seeing.
