hot air balloon

Hi, I remember when i was at DLP last Dec I saw a hot air balloon, I was just wondering if its still there and can you get rides on it? I'm going in Sept and quite fancy going on it, the view would be gorgeous and i'd get some great photos.
If you can go on it, does it cost much and approx how long does the ride last for? It would only be me going on it as my mam and grandma dont want to Does it bascily just take you up then back down, like not go around over a certain area?

Yes you can go up on the balloon. Great views of the resort.
It is tethered so it just goes up and then down

yes it is called panoramagique. its really nice at night coz everythings lit up

It costs 12 euros and takes about 10 minutes, I think!

Now I heard the views are not that great if you were wanting photos of specific rides for example as there is so much greenery. Has anyone got some pics from when they have been on?

Wow Reid, the views are excellent. We've always ummed and ahhed about going on it. Maybe we might make a trip 'up there' in December.

Wow thanks so much! Those photos are great, LOVE the view. That's really cheap too. OK its decided then- if its on when i go im deffo going on it lol. My mam and grandma can watch from the ground LOL.

wow I love the photos, we've always looked at the balloon but I'm far too much of a chicken to go up in it. Great pics !

I'm not very good with heights either, Giulia, but you're all fenced in and I felt quite safe.

Cool thanks, i'll take a look now. I'm 'hoping' to get a new camera before i go which has some fantastic features and a 10x optical zoom and wide angle so i'm really excited about taking pics from the balloon with it

To me those views actually spoil the Disney Magic. You can clearly see the back's of the building which (obvioulsy) aren't themed as they usually aren't seen. You can also see the ride housings. It just takes away a little of the for me

I felt like that when we went up in the balloon. Let's face it, we all know the back of the buildings are like that but it was still a shock actually seeing it.

I did enjoy going up in it though, even if DH filmed it all with the lens cap on!
