Hospitals getting overwhelmed again

How are the hospitals by you? Just saw this article and think we might be in for a long winter. Feel sorry for all the healthcare workers.

The hospital I work at has been a good bit over 100% capacity over the last week or two. Our numbers have skyrocketed once again.

Not overwhelmed as of yet, but case count is WAY up!

Cases still dropping. Hospital system closest to me has 59 Covid patients across seven facilities.

The January peak was 355.

So no, not overwhelmed at all.

We had a big surge in August.

Cases are rising in our state, so far, hospitals are OK and cases near me are not too bad. Son works in an ER. Sporadic cases coming in.

Did Christmas shopping today and maybe 10 percent of the shoppers wore masks. The stores and shopping center was packed.

I'm fully vaxxed, boosted and in good health, may the odds be in my favor! Lol
