I had my phone interview on Valentines Day and I am anxiously waiting to hear back!! My top choices for roles are hospitality or concierge :) I've been looking for more detail on them but can't really find too much. Anybody have any inside information about what its like or even possibly know some blogs about the roles? Thanks :)

I do not have personal experience but I do have some information :)

My sister works front desk at All Star. She said that they get International CPs and domestics (US) CPs. Since the International ones usually don't have a driver's license, the domestic CPs end up being runners. A runner is someone that changes door locks, delivers things to rooms, and drives out to get certain things for the resort. She said this is usually the case with hospitality CPs. Concierge would not be this way, it's just for Hospitality. I applied for both of those as my top choice and got Merchandise. Good luck!

Just found out this morning that I got in for Hospitality! Thanks for sharing the info. I was also wondering the same thing. I'm super excited though!

I did hospitality on my first program at Pop Century. I absolutely loved it. Every resort is a little different (type of guests, types of rooms etc) and it can be a little hard to "make magic" since you aren't out in the parks. But I loved talking with the guests and trying to find them rooms to match their requests (like which themed area or floor or near the pool). There were sometimes that guests would get angry at you, but then you just call over your FSA (like a supervisor) or your manager to help you out. The best part is that you are sometimes the very first Cast Member that they interact with!
