Ha ha! The first time we went to Disneyland when our daughter was little I had to give my husband one of my "airplane valium" . Now it's become our tradition. He's just not a crowd person at all, but wants to make his girls happy so he goes with it. Doctors will give you an rx if you have a fear of flying but not a fear of Disneyland! Funny.
He does love the rides and appreciates all the imagination and creativity in the park, just doesn't like all the dang people. Which truthfully I can understand. I'm super excited about this trip because I haven't been in a long time, but my happy place is Kauai. I would go there 4 times a year if I could.
I have friends that go to DLR every year for a week and spend so much money on the trip. For me that would be crazy. I'd rather spend my time and money going somewhere beautiful and tropical and being immersed in nature. After being on this board I realize my friends that are Disney crazy have a lot of company! That's ok...more power to you!
LOL...my DH just goes to his doctor about a week prior to our trip and gets a prescription for Zanex, it's the same thing as valium isn't it?? He just tells the doctor that he doesn't handle crowds well and starts to get hostile and would hate to accidentally injure someone while on his relaxing vacation to hell. LOL...thank goodness the doctor seems to understand and not take DH too seriously.
Trust me...we are ALL happier this way!

For when I said that it was time to return, they both gave a most resounding no, followed by a no way, while they are giving an ugly facial, to one degree or another while shaking their head in the negative... omg! The inhumanity of it all!
Anyway.... they did not state why, for at that point they were done with their lunch, when they then got up, and took off. WOW! Do I know how to clear a room or what?

Five more days until my next mental health break

.
