Horrible headaches-new glasses or sinuses?

I've been getting splitting headaches the past few days. I don't know whether to blame it on the new glasses I got or this heat wave. Any ideas how I can tell? It never took me this long to get used to new glasses. I wonder if they got my presciption wrong?

Do you still have your old glasses? If you do, go back to wearing them for a few days and see if the headaches go away. Do you feel a lot of pressure in your forehead and under your eyes? If so, it is probably sinuses. If it is of the splitting kind, probably your glasses.

If you close your eyes and relax and the headache gets better, it's probably eye strain. If you bend over and it feels like your face is going to pop off and the pain gets worse, it's definitely sinus pain!! I hope you feel better soon!!!

I never thought I'd get used to my latest pair of glasses....it took nearly a month and I had headaches while my eyes tried to adjust.

It was very unusual for it to take so long...so that certainly could be your problem as well.

Good luck, and in the mean time, buy stock in Advil! LOL LOL

I've never had an eye strain headache but I have suffered with sinus headaches since we moved to MI.

When I have a sinus infection, when I sit, stand or bend, the top of my head just pounds for about a minute. Then it subsides to a dull ache.

I hope your headache is gone soon so that you can enjoy your weekend.
