We had a bad rain here a couple days ago, complete with street flooding. We moved all the cars and as far as I know my mustang had no water in it. But yesteday we went to go to church and there was the most horrible odor in my car. We found that water had gotten in on the backfloor passenger side. The other two cars that got water in them, alot more, do not smell at all.
I vacuumed all the water out, have tried carpet cleaner, some kind of moisture absorb powder, kitty litter and it still smells.
I called a detailing place and they would shampoo and steam clean the whole interior and put down ensymes.
Does anybody have any ideas for trying to remove this smell?
