OK, here is the skuttlebutt on hopper tickets:
1) If you purchase them prior to getting to Florida, they will be cheaper. You may purchase them either at Disneyworld.com, through
AAA, if you are military, you can get them on the base, or you may purchase them at your local
Disney Store.
2) There are currently 5 different hopper tickets:
a) 4 Day Hopper, included unlimited admission to all 4 main parks and ability to hop between those parks. Days never expire. It also includes park transportation.
b) 5 Day Hopper, includes all of the above, but for 5 days.
c) 5 Day Hopper Plus, includes the above, plus 2 Plus options from which you may choose, those plus options are admission to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney World of Sports, or Pleasure Island. Plus options never expire, either. If you do it right, you can actually get 7 days out of these, by not going to the main parks the same days you go to the option parks, and not going to the options on the same days.
d) 6 Day Hopper Plus---same as above, but you get 3 options
e) 7 Day Hopper Plus--- same as previous, but you get 4 options.
There are busses from most of the onsite resorts to each park, and some resorts have other transportation options.
The Epcot resorts do not have a bus that runs to Epcot, but you may get their by foot, or boat, and the monorail resorts do not have a bus that runs to MK, but you may get there by boat or monorail--- and you may walk from the Contemporary. The WL has a boat to the MK, but no bus (last I stayed there).
Hope this helps. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me!
