Hopper pass question

I have some hoppers that are about 5 years old. Two of the tickets are childrens passes. My question is that my daughter is now considered an adult now. So she would be able to use the pass as an adult pass, correct? If so, can I give these tickets to my Sister and let her use it as an adult pass? Thanks for any help you can give on this. They leave tommorrow.

Neither of those assumptions is correct unless things have changed.

If you have a child ticket and the person is now an adult you can exchange it for an adult ticket and pay the difference.

If you have a partially used child's pass and the child to whom it was issued is now ten or older, take the ticket (with the child) to any park (including water parks or TTC) ticket booth or Guest Relations. As long as the issue date of the original ticket and the child's age seem to be in agreement they will replace it with an adult ticket with the same entitlements at no charge.

In your situation as long as the child is not over 14 this can be done.

In the event the child's ticket was completely unused, then the only thing that can be done is the original Disney selling price of the ticket can be applied to the price of a new ticket with an equal or higher cost.

Most likely your daughter can just finish up her pass as-is. The CM's are unlikely to send her (and you if she is too young) to Guest Relations if she is just a few years over nine.

You can give an unused pass to your sister to use.

A partly used MYW pass used more than 13 days ago or a pre-2005 pass in any condition can only be used as-is. It is uneconomical to use it up during a vacation when you need to buy another MYW pass to finish the vacation with.
