What is the best way to buy hopper passes? We are at the Beach Club Villas in July for three nights and need new passes (with a follow-on 4 night cruise - yippee!).

I have a Disney reward card from Chase and would like to apply the points from that toward hopper passes. I have tried to buy online via the Disney On-line ticket store, but always get an error (says nothing is in my cart even though I just put four tickets in it). I'm thinking about buying the 10 day passes, assuming that even though it's a lot of money, it's still cheaper in the long run. Good idea or not?

Does anyone know of a "human" voice I can speak to that can apply the reward card and that also offers 10 day passes?

Finally, we're thinking of adding on the water park option. We've never visited them but would like the option of going for half a day or so. Again, good idea or not?

Any advice is appreciated.

And as always, sorry if this in the wrong place (wrong board).

Are you a DVC member?? Why a 10 day pass if you are going to be on site for only 3 days?? Going again..which means you would need the no experation option. Also if you are a DVC member anything over 8 days is usually more advantageous to buy the annual pass.

Last year we bought 10 day hoppers and used our Disney rewards toward the purchase. I bought through the Disney website -- the only difficulty I recall was that they didn't initially show the 10 day as an option. I finally figured it out (just kept trying different things) and was able to complete the purchase using the rewards dollars plus cash without a problem.

For us, the 10 day passes (no expiration) were the right answer. We go, at most every other year, so an annual pass would just go to waste. It is a lot of money, but we figured prices would only go up.

We haven't added the water park options -- we still have some of the old "plus" options on old hoppers that we could use for that. If you're not certain, I'd say don't add it -- visit while you're there and if you're sold, then see if you can add the option. Hope it all works out for you...

Yes, I guess I should have been more clear. I'm looking at the 10 day with no option to use over several years.

I guess I'll try the web site again.

Just wanted to say thanks. We did get our passes, but we had to phone it in. We got the 10 day (with no expiration) and we also included the six "fun" visits. Although it was a little expensive, it won't look that way years from now as we're using the last of the days.
