Hopper or purchase 3 extra days?

I am hoping someone can help me. We are heading to WDW the end of this month for 7 nights. I was planning on purchasing a 7 day hopper. We may only park hop two or three of those days. Can I purchase a 9 day base ticket (not hopper) because it would be cheaper than purchasing the hopper. Would they let me do that?

No won't work. If the ticket is not a hopper than you can only enter one park in one day. The ticket will not allow you to enter at the second park. The only way to do 2 parks in one day is to have the hopper option.

It costs $50 to add park hopping and $6 to add 3 more days to your ticket. Im pretty sure Disney has thought about this
