Hopp Dee Doo - Category 3?

Anyone sat in Category 3 before for the Hoop Dee Doo? We are on the dining plan and want to go but they only have Category 3 left ( only 2 & 3 can be used with the DP)

Still good seats?

I don't think there is really a bad seat in the place. I have sat in all three categories and I actually like sitting in 3. The seats are upstairs and your chair spins. The show does still interact with those sitting upstairs so you don't feel left out. The show is entertaning and the food is pretty good.

Of all the dinner shows the HDDR is the only one IMHO that is worth the 2 TS credits.

We did cat 3 seating. Its up on the top balcony, but on the sides. And you sit facing away from the stage, so you do have to turn to see the show, but it wasn't bad by any means. PP is right though, the performers will be all over the place so you won't feel left out. If I could easily move it to a day I'd get cat 2 seating, I would do that. But if this is your best chance, I would definitely still go.

If you're by a pole, it can be a bit of a pain. Otherwise, those seats are just fine.

I booked HDDR cat 3 for May last month, but checked online almost every day to see if a cat 2 opened up, which it did last week, so I switched my reservation. I hope this does not mean I am going to have the worst seats in cat 2. We are a party of 3, DH and I and DD6. Did I make the right decision?

even if you have the worst seats of cat 2, you have a great view. I think you'll be fine.

We had category 3 seating and it was totally fine. As others have said, the chairs spin around so you have a great view The characters also come up to the second floor as part of the show! Enjoy!
