I measured my kids today...DD with bare feet was 43 1/2 inches...so we have to hope for the extra half inch in the next four months so that she can experience Space Mountain.

DS was 38 3/4 inches....all we need is that other 1 1/4 inches to completely change the way we tour...DH will not have to sit with DS on the sidelines anymore.

So anyone who is out there, think tall thoughts for us!:cool1:

The only bad think is that I am a member of the :ssst: KOTS club, so I can't use the trip as a way to reduce fights about mommy wanting them to eat their veggies.:rotfl:

:rotfl: Goodness! You sound just like me! I've been measuring my kids for months now trying to figure out who is tall enough to ride what. (I know, I should seek professional help)

My DS 4.5 (he was a premie and has just always stayed a little small) just hit 40 inches in his bare feet. This will make a huge difference for us as he is a bit of a dare devil and would have been sooooo disappointed to have to sit out.

I'll be sending TALL thoughts your way :teeth:

P.S. I forgot to add... I use the whole "You know, someday it'll be our turn to go to Disney and you'll want to be big enough to ride the rides so you'd better eat those veggies...."

In keeping with my KOTS status ;)

I just measured my DS6 - yes 6 - and he just hit 44 inches. It sucks having small kids.

If your DD is only 1/2" away with no shoes, she'll be tall enough with sneakers on. As for the youngest, boots and a cowboy hat;) , j/k. Thinking tall thoughts for you!

I have b/g twins that will be just turning 4 when we go to WDW in April. My daughter (with shoes) is 38". My son is about 5" taller. The ironic thing is that SHE is the daredevil. Last year we took them to Universal and went on the pteradactyl ride (swings in the air). Technically, she wasn't tall enough. We held her so she could get on the ride and they didn't measure her. They have double restraints so I wasn't worried about it. She LOVED it. My son who IS tall enough...not so much (in the enjoyment factor). I dread when they pull out the measurement bar. She'll be 8 before she's tall enough for anything! Sigh...sending the tall vibes your way...please push some back too!

Sending tall thoughts your way. My DS needs to grow 1-1/2" before the end of aug to make the 44" mark also, so I can relate.

We are in the same boat :confused3 DS is almost 38" wiht no shoes and he is 3 1/2 he will be 4 when we go so we are hopping for him the grow some too

We went and bought new shoes today. DS jumped from an 8 1/2 to a 10 in the past 3 months:eek: Guess a growth spurt should follow his foot spurt...at least I hope so. I know he's young (2 and a half) but I would love for him to experience Splash! I will not let him on TOT and I don't know about BTMR or Soarin'....DD hated TT and I could do without it, so that will not be an issue.

Thick sole shoes. hmmmmmm there better for wear too lol oh yeah a hat will help or big hair for the girls lol and spiked hair for the boys.
