we will be staying at WDW January 24th through 31st. Would love to be able to afford the Poly, but doubt that it will happen. Has anyone ever managed to get a good(great) rate there in January. I got a 30% off code, but not for our dates - crap!!! Is it possible to get another one - or maybe some kind of deal? The monorail would be great for us with DD3 and it just looks amazing.

Check out Magical Vacations they got us a great rate for our upcoming Poly stay. We got July 20th to July 26th for a really cheap price. Their website is ****************.com . So Good Luck and Have Fun!!

I was thinking about going with them for next October. Did you do room only... How do they get the good rate, public discount or do they get it because they book so much???

We tried to book Poly with the 30% off code but they didn't have any rooms left with the discount, only GF or BC. So we booked BC. I also tried with Magical Vacations for our upcoming October trip because they have on their site they are offering a group rate but right now they are sold out.:sad1:

I just went to that site and I get one of those generic advertising sites that links you to other travel sites. Do you have the address right?

If you're a memeber of AAA, ask for that rate. Also, I'm not sure how good it is any more, but one year we got such a great Annual Passholder rate that it was worth one of us buying the Pass (we'd have to buy a Park Pass anyway) and we still saved a lot of money. Those rates tend not to come out for a while, but you can still make the reservation and they will apply the discount later if available (you just have to check back periodically).

Sorry here is the right link:

Also, I got the rate for a special called Tiki Fest.

Where did you get the 30% off code from? I received a 40% off code for various weeks in 08 but nothing for 09 yet

We also booked with Magical Vacations for the Poly and saved a bundle. We are going 22-29 July. Only one more week!:rotfl:    :yay: :dance3:

I got the 30% off pin code in an e-mail after I ordered the dvd. I called and they appllied it to my BC ressie but they no longer had Poly available at the discount. I have actually been e-mailing one of the magical vacation agents and she said she will let me know if they get more rooms at that rate. Once you fill out the generic form an agent will contact you. However, I would call them so that it goes faster and the rooms you want don't book up.

I filled out a form requesting a quote and got an email stating that someone would contact me once the rates for 2009 come out. I am nervous though b/c I want to be able to make ADR for CRT and will need to do so this month - 180 days out. Guess I could just make a room only ressie for another "cheaper" resort (whatever we decide is our second choice) and cancel or upgrade once the rates come out - if we can swing it money wise. Am I allowed to do that? Any suggestions for a second choice? Thinking CS, or ASMO.

The 40% pin code I got this year was good for 1/6-1/17 and 1/20-1/31...but of course I didn't RECEIVE it until 1/8...so if I'd wanted a January trip I certainly would have had it planned before I got the pin. So keep your eyes peeled, if one comes out that time next year, you could prob. get it applied to your reservation...
