Hopefully this will be a helpful tip...

We are about a month out from our trip, this past week I put a couple of large ziplock baggies in my bathroom cupboard to get ready to pack. My plan is during the next few weeks to put any items that I use on a daily basis ( hair care, cleansers, moisturizer, toothpaste, etc...) in the bags as they get close to being empty ( about a week's worth left ). They will last me through the trip and then I can toss them, leaving extra room in my bags for the trip home and all the things I know we will be picking up

Great idea ::yes::

I am getting so excited - I can't wait for our first trip to get here!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Great tip, thanks.
Another tip that my mom gave me when I took my DD's to American Girl place was pack in my medium size suitcase and then put the entire suitcase into the larger one of the set. Then we had one completely empty suitcase for bringing home all of the extras.

Terrific idea. I think I'll start with the almost empty things this week. We do a variation on the empty luggage. I always pack a Mickey Mouse duffle bag inside our carry-on luggage. We hate having to wait for luggage at MCO but it doesn't seem to be so hard to wait at the end of the trip. So, we do carry-on going to WDW, then if we have gotten too much 'stuff' we just stick it in the duffel bag and check our bags going home. SInce we're going over Thanksgiving I think I'll be doing a little CHristmas shopping while we're there, so that duffel bag will be quite useful.

Why didn't I think of that? We've been stressing about some of the larger bottles that we pack for vacations! Great idea!
